Here are some photos of my Halloween costume:
I took this picture to send to my grandma:
This is Lauren and I at our stake halloween party:
Paper Bag Princess. It is a children's book. I made that dress out of paper bags, staples and masking tape.
Wednesday I found a link to Carol Hannah's blog (you know, from Project Runway ) and she had a giveaway where you sent pictures of your costume and she chose a winner. The prize was a scarf she made with pockets. I don't even wear scarfs, but I was going to start wearing that one every day after I won it. She announced the winner today and sadly it wasn't me. It was a couple that made Where the Wild Things are outfits (check out her post here). Sure their costumes are cool, I just feel like they beat me out because that movie is "in" right now and they took pictures in the grocery store. Carol Hannah seemed to like that. I did get a shout out when she was naming other cool costumes:
"Also notable, a pair of very convincing Ewoks from Star Wars, a dead on Frida Khalo, a Paperbag Princess made entirely and impressively of paper, and a legitimately scary zombie."
I'm a little disappointed. Maybe so much so that I will stop rooting for her on P.R. Well, not really. I don't want to start rooting for Meana Irena, so I guess I'll let this one go.

Ashley that dress is amazing! Maybe you should just go on PR yourself! Is it down to just the 2now? I didn't realize that. You are kind of famous since you got a shout of from a TV star. Nicely done! Love the costume!
Game Over!! Your costume was fan-friggin-tastic!!!
