Every time I watch some action movie I wish I really knew how to fight. Indiana Jones was the last straw for me. Becca found me a Muay Thai class at a place called Fighthouse. The description was irresistible for what I wanted to achieve: "Thai training methods develop devastating power, speed and superb cardiovascular endurance as well as fighting spirit." It also said to leave my ego at the door and be ready to sweat. Which I really do have to do. It is so humid here how can I help sweating like a crazy person and I don't know what I am doing at ALL so, good thing I have no ego about it. I signed up by the month so I am truly dedicated to the cause. So now I have shorts. It is actually really intimidating, but the teacher is super nice and the class is for beginners. We just practice kicks and punches and stuff like that on pads. I don't fight in the rink yet. I think when I am better I move up to intermediate class and start to do that kind of stuff. I've only been to class twice. The second one he did teach us how to head butt, hook punch three times and knee twice someone who got all up in our face at a bar. So watch out. Since I don't have my pepper spray anymore (it was confiscated at the Canadian border) this is my next mode of defense.
p.s. I had a really hard time taking a picture that looked hardcore. Something about my face really makes me look the opposite of hard core...

Kimbo slice better watch out... Those shorts are amazing, not going to lie about it
I really like this post. I think you did a good job of being hardcore and I'm so excited for you to be the ultimate fighter and I hope I get to see you beat someone up some day. It would be super cool if it were just a random street fight.
i love killing machine ashley. who should we choose for you to beat up first? jeffrey?
I totally could have beaten up Jeffrey BEFORE I became a fighting machine.
