Haruru Falls

The guy at our hostel told us about a little tramp (that is what hiking is called in NZ) to Haruru Falls. He made it sound like it was a lame waterfall, but I think they just have really high waterfall standards here. It was about 3 hours total. We took bikes to the start of the tramp. The guy in the picture is Adrian, the new German friend that Amalia met while brushing her teeth. It was a pretty fun hike. Orchids grow wild here all over. We went through some mangrove trees. It was great.

Amalia and I both feel really awkward about posing for photos. We might just start posing really ridiculously to compensate.

yeah remember when we tried posing for all of those cross-country pictures and then stopped because they all ended up looking like we were lovers...

If she met a German brushing her teeth, what would it take to meet an Italian?

In the photo where you guys are standing in front of the falls you look like you are crying. or incredibly uncomfortable. or both.

Regardless your adventures look fantastic.
