Not to get all churchy on you but...

Saturday night I was saying my prayers and thinking about how I really felt like something awesome was going to happen on Sunday. I didn't exactly know how to incorporate that into my prayers, so I really said, "please help something awesome to happen tomorrow if it be Thy will." The day was great. We went to a nice ward. We hung out at the lake in Hamilton which was really beautiful and had a bunch of birds we had never seen, plus their babies (It was like a baby animal calendar. So great. I would post pictures, but I'm not on my own computer right now). We met a lady in the park that said we could park our car in her driveway and use her shower. It seemed like an ok option. Then we went to a stake relief society meeting. Afterward we did not know what to do. We decided to try to call the lady we met in the park. But the number she gave us didn't have enough numbers. I went in the church to see if someone could tell me the area code for this place. There was one lady left in the church whose name was Anne (I found out today that she is the stake Relief Society president) and the first thing she said was, "Where are you staying?" I was kind of embarrassed about admitting we were going to sleep in the car so I kind of brushed it off while I asked about the phone number. Luckily she asked again and when I said I didn't know she said, "you can stay in my Grandma's house across the street. I take care of it and no one lives there." So now we are staying in the cutest little house with a stove and fridge and washer and dryer and shower and toilet and our own bedrooms (big step up from the car). We are going to stay until Wednesday so we can go to the temple and watch Harry Potter (two unrelated tasks, but both can be done in Hamilton). Anne lives right next door and lets us use her phone for free calls to the States and the internet as long as we want. Too nice. So unbelievable. And really really awesome. Today I was reading in Helaman 3:25 (in the Book of Mormon) where the people are so blessed that even the High Priests are surprised. Lately I feel like I am blessed way more than I should be. I mean, I'm already hanging out in New Zealand, having a great time. Some people live in war zones. Maybe those blessings should go to them. I don't get it, but I'm really really thankful for it.
