November 6

While we were walking to the ferry today, Amalia saw on the side of a bus that there was a Rose Festival and that the bus would take us there for free. So we jumped on and went. The roses were cool but the coolest thing was this orange juicer that we are considering purchasing to use for our next job when we get home. Fun Juice! Coming to a festival near you.

After the festival we went to Devonport (pronounced dee-von prt). It is an island close to Auckland. We stood on top of a volcano cone. The volcano was used during war and was supposedly full of tunnels. There was one giant lowering gun and an old bunker where the folk music club meets now.

More trees. Trees that needed to be propped up with poles.
